Beginning in 2016… HIBster for Pennsylvania!
The HIBster software, a highly successful bullying incident tracking software used in neighboring states, is expanding and ready for implementation in Pennsylvania schools! The software has many positive components that school administrators and counselors will find highly beneficial in dealing with bullying infractions. Please review our website and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us!
The following are easily adaptable for PA schools!
Intervention & Referral Module
Will assist school personnel in identifying issues including alcohol, tobacco, other drugs and mental health issues which pose a barrier to a student’s success. This will help you decide when to refer a child to I&RS and will keep your school compliant with state and federal regulations (FERPA, Equal Access, PPRA, and HIPAA).
An unparalleled tool to help teachers, counselors, and school administrators (grades 7 – 12) address bullying by understanding and confronting the issue like never before. The “Bullying Redefined” program was created by certified school psychologist Andrew Yeager, the past president of the Association of Student Assistance Professionals of New Jersey (ASAP-NJ) and a lead crisis responder for the Bergen County Traumatic Loss Coalition. Yeager is a co-executive producer of the anti-bullying film “Sticks and Stones” and the author of several classroom-based bullying and DWI-prevention programs and curricula.
This is the first time the curriculum and intervention / remediation tools will be available electronically.
HIBster’s new mobile app allows students, parents and staff to submit a bullying report directly from their smartphone or tablet. There’s also an emergency button which allows a phone call, text message or email to be sent to a school official instantly.
